ESMC has formed a tweezer top today... If the stock remains in the negative area all day today... should this position be closed?

no, a tweezer top is something to look for at the extreme top end of extended uptrend. All your seeing is some consolidation today where the bulls and the Bears are fighting after the reversal has become evident.
The fact that for the past two days they show a tweezer top is not significant at this point of the trend.
