Some members have enquired about the implications of Bond prices/yield when relating to stockmarket movements. Could some comments be placed on the interpretation of the US Treasury Bond (USZ04 for example). In fact is any interpretation really applicable to the movement in the stock market and if it is,can cross referencing provide any assistance in anticipating the strength of a possible move in the stockmarket?
I have chosen this particular contract for no specific reason beyond initiating the question on understanding Bond price movements and relating it to the stockmarket. An alternative series may(?) be more applicable
Hopefully the following attempt to display the chart from Future Source will work
Thanks for any help

the bond prices going up of course indicate the yields going down. If there is a correlation of bond prices to stock prices, then evaluating the bond charts become very easy when using the candlestick charts. The bond prices bounced up strong on Friday. Now that does not always mean that stock prices are going to react in a certauin way. That reaction will be predicated by what the sentiment is about what the interest rates mean is going o0n in the economy at the time.
