I now want to order a charting service to begin to test my understanding of the knowledge presented in Stephen Bigalow's book. He seem to favor TC/2000, which I have used in the past, but they tell me they do not have PCF's for finding candlestick patterns that come with the system. OmniTrader looks interesting and has a number of Candlestick PCF's that come with the system. Doess anyone have any experience with OmniTrader vs TC/2000? Any information would be helpful.

Schwind, check out the previous post (down the page a bit) called "Charting software question". Here's a link if you can't find it.

If you are linking to another page anywhere in the Candlestick Forum site, we welcome and encourage you to use the correct URL. This actually helps our site in the search engines.

It is only the outbound links to external websites that we discourage because it will negatively influence our search engine positionings over time.

Thanks.

Schwind,

A lot of the people here use TC2000 and love it. Some others use stockcharts.com which is also very good...Owl has pointed out the new changes and it looks like they are making a great program even better. I personally use MetaStock and I'm very happy with it. However, it is quite involved once you get into it and takes a bit of time to go through everything. But, once you get through all that it is definitely worth every minute spent in my opinion. It costs more than a lot of the other programs but you also get a lot more. Now whether you would use all the features...or even need them...is a matter of personal preference.
