I think what could happen is one of the major bubbles could pop (possibly the commodities) starting a domino effect that causes foreign investment to exit the US resulting in a collapse of the debt bubble and the result of that could be an economic meltdown.

Ted, that dosn't look like a bubble to me. Note how flat the price action is. It looks to me like the commodities have been going sideways since October 2001. Also, commodities can't have a bubble because they are like energy, housing and oil in that they are needed by consumers so they are exempt from bubbles and so can't "pop". Some groups are different, especially this time.
