I'm just getting into investing. I want to start paper trading. I thought the best place to track it would be on a spreadsheet. I don't want to invest in software yet...
Does anyone have something they would share, or point me to some other resource?
Thanks

Yahoo is very good for that. It will do Longs and Shorts. For permanent record keeping, you can always paste the Yahoo Portfolio Data into a spreadsheet.

Investopedia ( http//simulator.investopedia.com/ ) has a free simulator. However its is delayed time and will only be good as a very loose ball park tool as the market is trading in real time. |
