Looking at FCX had a big gap down three trading days ago and climbed right back up same day. Then has had two good days and sto’s are in good shape. The volume was good on Wednesday but dropped off Thursday and Friday. Would that be a bad sign?

The gap down formed a belt hold signal, page 76 in the book, a good formation to learn

Thank you for pointing that out. I have been watching the list of major signals listed on page 27 that I never have got past those to study the rest of the patterns. I guess this points out the need to put them all to memory or at least no what they all look like so I can go back and read up on them when needed. Thanks again for all your help its been money in the bank

recognize the signals, do not learn them, the major signals, the 12 major signals should be learned, the rest of them, just know well enough that when you see one, you know to go back to the book and get more info. Any of the signals that you will see other than the major signals do not occur often enough to use a lot of mental energy and time.
