|Hello once again fellow candlestick users!
For the first six months of 2009 I was out of the mutual funds and only in CASH. However, I was still making roughly 4-5% APR.
July 20th, 2009 I re-picked mutual funds, using candlesticks, and re-entered the mutual funds once again into my portfoilio.
For the 3rd and 4th quarter 2009 , I still managed to increase the Portfolio an Amazing +27.98%
Does that tell you anything about using Candlesticks?
Are you satisfied that your Mutual Funds went down last year because you "Trust the Company".. I have only one comment...."Remember Enron?"
I am on my 5th year using the Candlestick method...along with common sense...and a good geel for a goal this year is my usual, conservative 30%....after I did make 27.98% in less than six months last year. hehe
Since I began using candlesticks....and even with a loss in a part of 2008 ( until I cashed in Aug 10, 0.....I calculate, a pretty close to accurate Average of +24% per year for the past four years.
It's kind of funny, that Jan1, 2007, I picked a random goal of 30% for All of 2007 and made that by March.....ended at +45.33%
Since then 30% seemed a fair, and reasonable goal for my retirement fund for 6-8 more years down the road.....I will be very happy with %30%
To get +27.8% last year in six months just blows me away!
Gee, Candlesticks are Great...and I am having loads of Fun ...Making Money!
So Long for now...let me peek ... for Jan 14, 2010..I am so far up +3.26%...a good start.
See you later!
