In my first Easyscan, attempted to duplicate settings from the TC2000 Demo. My "Price Per Share-H" was set at 4.95 to Max, the "Volume 90-Day" was set at 2037 to Max, and the "Stoch Short Term-H" was set at Min to 20.27.

The scan resulted in 92 items, but none of the 92 included OPVW or DNA (But INSP was in there). Any idea why they missed the scan?

Thanks,
Jeff

It is because Stochastics on those two stocks is above 20 - that is why.

Tab321 - Thanks for looking into this. Yes, you're right, the stochastics are over 20 for DNA and OPWV, though not for INSP. So that brings up the question, Steve, what criteria are you using for your initial daily scan?

Also, on the charts that you refer to in your "Picks" section, there is a Stochastic setting of 5,5. What is that setting for?

Thanks!

Your initial scan was correct, but what I also do is realizing that this market has been in an extended uptrend, I also scan for stocks greater than five dollars and volume greater than 200,000 with out any stochastics criteria. This universe is about 1700 stocks. I then sort also by the biggest percent move today to see if the stocks that were moving up formed some sort of buy signal even those stochastics were not in the over sold area.

Looking for J-Hook patterns or bounces off major moving averages, etc.
