|Hi, I'm totally new to trading but I'm reading several books right now, including Stephen Bigalow's new book, High Profit Candlestick Patterns, which is pretty good.
I'm not 21 yet so I can't use tradestation, and I've found a program called Cybertrader by Schwab, but the interface is a little complex. There's another called Modulus Market Manager but it's way too expensive ($1000).
Which program do you guys use for charting and trading? (direct access)
At the risk of sounding stupid, I'd like a program that'd scan the market for specific parameters (which I can program or something), look up symbols, their prospectus, view their charts in japanese candlestick while being able to adjust the window/view (some don't allow this, haha), etc etc.
I'm also interested in options trading, so if the program helps with options, that'd be great, too...
I hope you guys can help me out here, I'm pretty enthusiastic about this. even if I don't make money in the early stages, I'd still be enthusiastic about the learning and the challenge.
Thanks in advance,
