looks like a tower bottom rather than a kicker. stoc would support this.
but what makes me thinking is that we are on no suopport area but below the ma50.
and there is still a open gap.
so just a retest of the ma50 or can you invest again?
any opinions?

hey Karla, im experimenting with different stocastic settings but I would wait on XOM...it is pretty oversold however, the stocastics still arent heading up yet and no buy signal as of yet. however, the bottom may be near and that would be a green light to add more.

cheers

thanks ninner. wouldn't argue against. maybe it's also a bear flag
i liked the tower bottom but got no entry.
anyhow if it curl up today i will try it. weekly seems also support this.

i don't know what you are testing with stoc and maybe you know this already
dacharts.com/ there you will find a stoc called BLine.
a fast and a slow stoc together for entry, direction an re-entrys.
maybe it helps

XOM had the potential of forming a cradle pattern two days ago. However, the candle that followed it closed more than halfway down the bullish candle. This should have been immediate confirmation that the uptrend was not getting bullish support.
