Need some help with charts. I use Schwab’s StreetSmartPro platform. I am trying to use the same Stochastics as ySteve's but find it confusing with SSPro. They have the following:

Stochastic %D - Period 1 ?
Stochastic %D - Period 2 ?

Stochastic %D Slow - Period 1 ?
Stochastic %D Slow - Period 2 ?
Stochastic %D Slow - Period 3 ?

Stochastic %K - Period 1 ?

Stochastic RSI - Stochastic Period ?
Stochastic RSI - RSI Period ?
Stochastic RSI - Slowing Factor ?

In which of the Stochastics above do I use the 4, 2, 2 (same as Steve's)?

MACD Histogram - Period 1 ?
MACD Histogram - Period 2 ?
MACD Histogram - Period 3 ?

Is 12, 26, 9 correct for the MACD Histogram?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Just as a slight clarification, here is what Steve says about stochastics settings (this is from the "Ask the Experts" section):
Quote:
For long term investing, 14, 5, 5 is the best setting. Swing trading, 2 day to 10 day holds, 12, 3, 3 and day trading, use a combination of 12, 3, 3 and 2, 2, 2.

Good trading,
Scooter
