I Am Plotting the 20,50,and 200 ma on a 15 min, 2 hr, 1 hr, and 195 min charts and I am getting different values for the ma's on different time period charts. Are there any book availaable to help me with this problem?

That's normal, as you change the time periods the MA will change.

Hey Cornnuts

To solve that problem so you are comparing apples to apples I suggest the following: to compare a 50 daily moving average on an 195 min chart you should use a MA of of 100. for 1 hour a MA of 325. etc reason is daily chart is really 390 minutes so for 195 min chart use 2X (100). etc thanks MS2
