would like advise on if I did the correct move on this one.went long jrcc @ 10.78 few days ago. sold today @12.99 Very Happy because it was near the 50 dma at open and started to fall after a doji yesterday. Had a nice profit and was going to sell half but sold all and figure I will see if it pulls back to 20 dma and bounces from there or if it has a nice break through the 50 on the up side get back in for a move to the 200. question is was I premature in selling as I did not have a sell signal? Just kind of nervous in this market and had a nice gain also october does not have a very good record as a bullish month Crying or Very sad I do think this has a lot of room to the upside so lets hear your comments. as always thanks in advance and many profits to you.

Personally, I would have gotten out when you did. Stochs. are oversold. The stock is in a strong downtrend, so I would not have gone long that stock to start with. However, you may have gotten in at the bottom and just as the trend is changing. Even at that, though, it is probable that the stock will pull back after the initial thrust which you got in. So, I cannot see anything wrong with your taking profits when you did.
