Last thursday Randy Wayne spoke in the chat room as a guest. He said someone would have the formula posted on the candlestick forum. I can't find it. This is my first time using any kind of chat forum.

Thanks, Cornnuts

With permission from Ricky Wayne, here is the J-hook formulas he created and uses.
((C <= AVGC5.5) or (C <= AVGC9)) AND (C >= AVGC20)

20 must be above the 50 all I do is use a PCF (AVGC50 > AVGC200)

These two PCFs could be comined into one like this

((C <= AVGC5.5) or (C <= AVGC9)) AND
(C >= AVGC20) AND
(AVGC50 > AVGC200)

I have my own J-hook PCF that I've been working on. I'm still testing it; when I think it is ready it is my intent to post it here.

S2

Thanks for the PCF S2 and Ricky...but that thing brings up a couple hundred candidates per day...actually over 500 today, but I put a volume restriction in which cut it in half.

In the post for the J-Hook you state:

20 must be above the 50 all I do is use a PCF (AVGC50 > AVGC200)

The comments says the 20 but the PCF says the 200 MA which is it?

Try this for the JHook

(AVGC20 >= AVGC50) AND (AVGC50 >= AVGC200)
The idea is to get a uptrend.

If there are any other questions please let me know. I also will post my entire easy scan here this week end.

Thanks
Rick (RickyWayne)
