I don't know because I have used TCnet for the past 8 years, the real time charting and the scanning capabilities are more than what I require each day. It is 99.00 per month and will pays for itself. If there are cheaper and/or better programs, maybe other members can give their opinions

I use the $9.95 real time package at Quote.com.
I think the package is very cheap and real easy to use and very affordable, here is a link have a look and see what you think.

I use Jerry Medved's Quote Tracker... there is a free version but for $ 60.00 a year one can get rid of the ads. It is live mostly for short term and swingtrading up to 60 minutes.... But links to Big Charts for the longer time frames. It also supports HA candlesticks, which are more for trending.

It has a lot to offer (imo), even setting up your trading platform.
