Couldn't ignore the strong hammer formed in 3hr. chart(10am bar):

Long at 1.1768 SL 1.1738 TP 1.1825 (unrealized pips: +47)

I think I got confused on my last trade. The patterns formed wasn't inverted hammer(bullish reversal), instead it is looked more like a tweezer top.

Update: Exited at 1.1808 (+40)...30min. chart shows a shooting star.

Hi..Frank

Well not sure I would call it a tweezer either..my understanding of that is they have to the wicks at the same level or very close.

The hammer on the last trade is a good one..

My suggestion is to make sure the hammer has a very small wick( compared to total candle length) after the hammer part of the bar....on the other trade I think the wick was too big thus not making a hammer.

Good one John, thanks for the comments, will keep my eyes on those tweezer, if they occur again. They seem to be very powerful signals.

Today, didn't have time to trade. Cheers.

Still haven't got any buy/sell signal from my new system:

It is based on a movement of a minimum 20 pips between the Open and Close of the 3hr.'s bar. The next bar must have a minimum of 100 pips between the OC. Then move into a 30min. chart, and look for a candlestick reversal pattern. If one found, then go long/short(against the direction of the most current bar) at the open of the next bar with a 25 pips SL, and 60 pips TP.

On the sideline.
