June 7th Market Wrap-Up

The utilization of candlestick signals allows investors to evaluate whether selling in an index is a reversal or merely profit-taking. This is done by a very simple visual analysis of all the indexes. Today the NASDAQ traded lower. A selloff reversal? If you evaluate the Dow be in up on the day and the S&P 500 be in relatively flat, the combination of all the indexes merely indicate profit-taking in some sectors while they are still buying in other sectors. This greatly reduces the anxiety of whether it is time to come out of positions knowing that the overall market is still heading in the same direction on any given day. You do not have to be a sophisticated technical analyst to understand what investor sentiment is doing based upon candlestick signals. The Japanese Rice traders have provided the graphics of the signals as well as the interpretation/what investor sentiment was doing that formed the signals.

As an individual investor, without the accessibility of vast research resources, candlestick charts provide the information that reveal what the vast research resources have decided. You may not know why prices are moving up or down but with candlestick charts, you can easily analyze whether the Bulls or the Bears are in control. This is based upon centuries of chart analysis by the Japanese Rice traders. The combination of candlestick signals, especially the 12 major signals, provide investors with an extremely high probability analytical result, when the signals are used in conjunction with other simple technical indicators. The big price moves can be anticipated using candlestick signals.
