Today the markets did not do anything of any significance. However this information is very valuable when utilizing candlestick signals and patterns. The lack of today's trading movement indicated a very important factor, there was no change of investor sentiment. As seen in the doubt chart, the doubt consolidated today back to the three ¨C T-line. This merely revealed profit-taking versus any major change of investor sentiment. Currently, the three ¨C T-line is being tested to help fine tune stop losses during rapid uptrends. This gave significant information in today's trading on the NASDAQ. That index pulled back slightly after a gap up on Friday but used the 3T-line as support. Numerous stocks traded off today. Candlestick signals and patterns provide a significant value to what investor. It is not unusual to have a majority of the portfolio trading positive on days where the markets are trading negative.

This is not due to any lucky phenomenon. This factor is due to the identification and build up of investor sentiment in price patterns that are going to move in directions that will not be influenced by the market direction and general.

Candlestick analysis works very effectively on its own. It also makes existing trading programs much more affective.
