To create a shortcut for your Desktop
Place a shortcut on your Desktop for Quick Connect to join us in Stock Chat through the HotComm platform. The shortcut will not work unless you previously download HotCommCL. If you have not done so go to this link now for free download.
Please download HotCommCL first.
1. Click on the blue oval button below to download the desktop shortcut.
2. The following window will appear, click on Run.
3. You will get a Security Warning window similar to the previous one, click Run again.
4. A small window will appear asking if you want to set up a desktop shortcut on your desktop, click Yes.
5. A Room Connection box with two (2) empty fields will come up asking for relay server and room. For Relay Server, type in: relay9 and for room enter: candlestickforum (make sure there are no spaces in either entry and that they are all lower-case characters). Click OK.
6. The last pop-up you will see is a window asking if you would like to add another shortcut, click NO.
7. An icon, like the one below, will appear on your desktop with the description: "connect to candlestickforum." Double-click on that icon to join stock chat. You will hear a ring and another dialog box requesting a password. For Thursday night sessions, the password is: 123. For Monday night chats and Member Stock Chat, the password can be found in the Members' Area.
